Description

Underdogs of the forest

The Empire guards the shield generator for the second Death Star on Endor, confident in its walkers, speeder bikes and troops. It does not reckon with the Ewoks, small furry forest dwellers who fight back with slings, spears, rolling logs and traps. Their ambush turns the ground battle in the Rebels' favour and remains one of the most talked-about sequences in the original trilogy. This set picks up that David-and-Goliath feel on a small scale.

Timber tones

Reddish brown and dark brown lead the colours, standing in for trunks, branches and the Ewoks' handmade contraptions. Black and dark bluish grey represent the Imperial side. Interestingly, green is not among the main colours, so the focus is on wood and machinery rather than foliage. For anyone who builds forests, cabins or castle scenes, a stock of brown elements is always welcome. The parts list below shows every part by colour.

Variety in a small package
