Captain Brickbeard's era

As a sub-theme of Pirates, Pirates II gathers 15 sets from 2009 to 2013. The main 2009 wave centred on Captain Brickbeard's crew and the soldiers opposing them. Brickbeard's Bounty (6243-1), with 596 pieces, is the pirate ship of the line, while Soldiers' Fort (6242-1) at 371 pieces gives the soldiers a base.

The Imperial Flagship

Released in 2010, Imperial Flagship (10210-1) is by far the largest set, with 1,668 pieces. It shows the soldiers' side at sea and dwarfs every other model in the range, with almost three times the piece count of Brickbeard's Bounty. If you only pick one ship from this line for display, this is the obvious candidate.

Islands, wrecks and board games

The smaller sets fill in the setting. Shipwreck Hideout (6253-1) has 313 pieces, Loot Island (6241-1) 145 and Kraken Attackin' (6240-1) 78.
