About Paradisa
A different palette for Town
Paradisa is easy to spot: pink, white, turquoise and light green dominate, set against sandy baseplates and palm trees. The theme was aimed at broadening the appeal of Town, with a strong focus on leisure activities and a noticeably higher share of female minifigures. Horses, sailing boats, sun loungers and café furniture appear throughout. Many fans see it as an early step towards the later themes that targeted a similar audience.
Highlights by size
Rolling Acres Ranch (6419-1), one of the first releases in 1992, is also the largest at 364 pieces. Country Club (6418-1, 293 pieces) followed in 1996, and Poolside Paradise (6416-1, 239 pieces) came out in 1992. Dolphin Point (6414-1, 210 pieces), Fun Fair (6547-1, 205 pieces), Sand Dollar Cafe (6411-1, 172 pieces), Cabana Beach (6410-1, 154 pieces) and Island Arcade (6409-1, 150 pieces) round out the bigger sets. Most of the range sits in the 150 to 300 piece bracket, so none of the models is overwhelming to build. Built together, they form a small seaside resort that stands apart from the grey roads and police stations of the rest of Town.
