Description

A ride, not a vehicle

Unlike many Creator Expert sets built around a car or a building, the Fairground Mixer recreates an actual funfair attraction: several gondolas mounted on arms that spin freely around a central shaft, while that whole assembly also rotates. This double-rotation layout mirrors real chairoplane-style fairground rides and means every gondola tilts and turns independently once the model is set in motion, whether by hand or with an optional motor. It is one of the few LEGO sets built around genuine ride mechanics rather than a static model.

1,745 pieces split between mechanism and scenery

A large share of the 1,745 pieces goes into the hidden mechanism beneath the ride platform, while the rest builds scenery: a ticket booth, signage, string-light details and a small snack stand that round out the funfair setting. The black, white, light grey and blue colour scheme is restrained compared with a typical play set, matching the more technical, ride-accurate character that runs through the Creator Expert fairground series.

Twelve minifigures for a lived-in scene

With 12 minifigures, the Fairground Mixer is unusually figure-heavy for its series.
