Description

The pilot behind the mask

Plo Koon is instantly recognisable by the breathing mask and goggles that Kel Dor wear away from their homeworld. In the prequel films he is mostly a quiet presence on the Jedi Council, but the animated series turns him into a leader who flies with his clone pilots and cares deeply about his troops. Revenge of the Sith shows his fate: his fighter is shot down when Order 66 is issued. A set built around his ship lets fans give him a proper place in the collection.

Jedi starfighters of this era share a sharp, flat silhouette, so colour does much of the work in telling them apart. Here blue leads the list, with white and two bluish greys behind it. That scheme ties the ship to Plo Koon at a glance and separates it from the red and yellow fighters of other Jedi.
