Description

An escort that turns into a trap

When the Millennium Falcon limps towards Bespin, a pair of orange cloud cars intercepts it and escorts it down to a landing platform in Cloud City. The city, run by Lando Calrissian, looks like a safe refuge at first, but the Empire is already waiting. The cloud car only has a brief moment on screen, yet its twin cockpits joined by a central section give it a shape that fans recognise straight away. Its brief appearance has not stopped it becoming a favourite with fans of the original trilogy.
