About Advent
Calendars without a home theme
Advent sits under Seasonal and is split into twelve sub-themes by product line: City, Star Wars, Belville, Castle, Classic Basic, Clikits, Creator, Pirates, Friends, Harry Potter, Marvel and Disney. Only five sets are filed directly here. Two are early general calendars, Advent Calendar 1999 (1076-1) with 229 pieces and Advent Calendar 2000 (2250-1) with 241. The others are 24-in-1 Holiday Countdown (40222-1) from 2016 with 250 pieces, Christmas Build-Up (40253-1) from 2017 with 254, and the Minecraft Advent Calendar 2025 (21280-1), the largest at 300 pieces.
After the last door
Once December is over, the tiny models tend to end up mixed in with everything else, and after a few years it is hard to tell which piece came from which calendar. Piece counts in this section sit between 229 and 300, so every calendar is a modest but complete build once the doors are all open. Each calendar's parts list helps you sort them out again, and ‘What can I build?’ tells you which calendars you could reassemble from your collection.
