Description

Most Ultimate Collector Series models are meant to stand still and look impressive. As the name says, this one is designed to walk under motor power, which gives it a rare mix of display piece and working machine. That also shapes what you should look for if you buy one today. A used copy is only complete if the electrical components are present and working, so check the parts list on this page closely before handing over any money, and ask the seller whether the motor has been tested.

The walkers of Hoth

On screen, the AT-ATs are slow, relentless and almost unstoppable. They trudge across the snow towards the Rebel shield generator while snowspeeders try to trip them with tow cables, and Luke Skywalker brings one down by climbing to its belly and throwing an explosive inside. It is the Empire's ground power at its most intimidating. The set draws on that image, with a long body, a boxy head and four tall legs that make the walker instantly recognisable even from across a room.

Grey, black and a hint of blue

Light bluish grey, dark bluish grey and black make up most of the palette, matching the cold, industrial look of Imperial machinery.
