Description

An execution that goes wrong

Jabba the Hutt plans to feed Luke, Han and Chewbacca to the Sarlacc, and the prisoners are taken out over the pit on a desert skiff. What follows is one of the most energetic sequences of the original trilogy. R2-D2 launches Luke's lightsaber, the skiff turns into a battlefield, and Boba Fett ends up tumbling into the Sarlacc's mouth. For a vehicle that is little more than a floating deck with a railing, it gets a remarkable amount of screen drama.
