Description

An early take on a curved ship

The Sith Infiltrator has a rounded cockpit and folding wings, a shape that is not easy to capture in bricks. This version shows how designers tackled it with the elements available at the end of the 1990s, before many of today's curved slopes and specialist parts existed. Later models of the same ship are bigger and smoother, which makes this one an interesting point of comparison. For collectors tracing the theme from its first year, it is an essential piece of that story.

Maul's hunt

In Episode I, Darth Sidious sends his apprentice to find Queen Amidala and her Jedi protectors. Maul follows them to Tatooine in the Infiltrator, leading to his first clash with Qui-Gon Jinn in the desert. The ship's dark, unusual profile fits a villain whose appearance marks the return of the Sith. On a shelf, it makes a strong counterpart to the Naboo and Republic craft from the same film, and a reminder of how much of the prequel era began with this one villain.
